Lorna Dueck

Lorna has over 30 years of experience in journalism and media management. Lorna has served as CEO of Crossroads Global Media Group, home to Canada’s longest running daily talk show 100 Huntley Street, and as CEO of YES TV network, a commercial television station, and Media Voice Generation, a community-held Canadian charity that created the award-winning TV program Context with Lorna Dueck.

Canada’s leading national newspaper, The Globe and Mail, published Lorna’s commentary writing each month as their faith and public affairs voice from 2000 to 2016. She has travelled the world doing documentary reporting on response to humanitarian crises and is a passionate speaker on advocacy issues.

Lorna has received honorary doctorate degrees from Trinity, Tyndale and Briercrest Universities and has been honoured with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for contributions to Canadian Society.

Throughout Lorna’s highly accomplished career, she always made time to give back and help others, but Lorna’s story had a tough beginning. In her own words:

“If abortion had been legal back then, I would not be here today.”

Join us on October 20th to hear Lorna Dueck's powerful story of life and healing.
